I hope this is not a mission impossible (but it probabby is:()

Here is the thing: I have a ciPhone 3G, 3,5 inch phone. right now I have the

MT6230-S02-APL228-20090324-V1-8-1

firmware on it: http://fastfreefilehosting.com/file/17826/APL228-PCB03-gprs-MT6230-S02-APL228-20090324-V1-8-1-bin-zip.html

What I would like, is to run a firmware from a different (but VERY simmilar) phone (the Lonya/Lanya) on my ciPhone, it's a MTK_ROMINFO_v04 T658_PCB03_GPRS_MT6230_S02.07B_W0816_V01

Download here: http://rs404.rapidshare.com/files/244459251/Lanya_128Mb_Flash_Tool.rar

Of course I tried to flash the Lonya FW on my ciPhone, and of course it didn't work :( The phone actually boots, screen stays white but at least I could call the phone, it rings, so it must do something?!?

Is there ANY way to fix the Lonya FW to make it work on my ciPhone?

That's why I need a specialist :D

Thanks :)

The most cheapest way (trust me, I know what I talk about) is: you need to buy a phone that you need and leave idea about firmware editing.

But what's the fun of that?;)

I'd rather KILL my phone trying to temper with the firmware than to buy a phone that already has a firmware on it that I like :D

For me at least 90% of the fun I have with these Shanzhai Chinese Phones is to play around with the firmwares :)
