Hi All , My sl45 after upgrading to fw.56 was ok. But one day it turned off beacouse of battery empty , after battery was charged i turn it on and in menu>profiles all positions were called normal.
Plesae help if Anyone nows how to fix it plz,
I tried to re-flash my phone but it doesnt help , i think its eeprom lost ( maybe i`m wrong ) ?

how many "normal" do you have now?
can you "rename" some of its under "option"
I have 7 normal i can rename them all but i can`t change settings ( ring tones , volume ) all pre-settings are lost

all pre setting is gone okay
are you sure any setting can not be changed?
have you ever unlock it?

Yes i had unlock it beacouse of phone code blocked but ti was ok after this

nothing to do with unlocked just asked for no reason
never have that problem b4 but i used to see somes talkabout it somewhere i forgot
anyway i like to know what's the file name(v56) you use for flashing?

winswup right?
if not then try to reflash with 5601w.exe Winswup
not sure it will help and you will get some better answer from members soon

could be EEPROM
read further on EEPROM damaged solution
for me i would try to use ksie5.1 to change IMEI/unlock it again to see if it'll work

Try to upload new MAP... Must help You... ;)
Were i can find a new map for my phone ? it should be for fw.56 ?
I never do this before , so plz help for beginner in mapping :)

You need to download zSiemens, for mapping you phone..

i encountered the EXACT SAME problem. Phone shut-off because of empty battery, left it all night in the sync, in the morning, same case, profiles gone, and something else was missing but I don't remember. I was in a great hurry so I just loaded the latest back-up (I make a full back-up with UniSiemes every time I change smth in the flash) and everything was back to normal. NO Winswup, NO eeprom... Just flash...

i did not see he said he did some changes or patch anything on the original FW56..
so pls tell me the diff between using Winswup and using your backup FF file by UniSiemens.. either ways you did reflash your phone right?
Hi i red somth about mapping and i will try to remap my phone , gr_driver i tried to load my beckup but still hopeless :(
In polish siemens forum i found some posts about lost profiles so im think its quite common problem but still no good solution
I will also try to read flash from friends phone ( original sl45i ) and reflash with it
and meybe eeprom ? is this possible ( maybe eeprom is with imei ? )

If you´d read full flash (6mb) that includes EEprom, IMEI, etc.
This means you need to map after flash it into your phone.
Everyone with this kind of problems, try downgrade.
My known advice is to flash flx19, map and update with winswup
But in this case, you may need to use v05 Repair Flash...
