patch for vibrator

anyone know if i can patch my sl45 so with a press of a button i get a constant vibrate? i know this may sound dirty to some of you :-), bu tthere's a reason.

i basically have this phone and am not using it as a mobile, but an mp3 player. the arial is broken beyond repair, thanks to moi.
first thing i was going to do was cut off the arial, then i thought why not cut only half of it off, then buy a PCB 3.5 mm socket, and put it where the arial is, and connect it to the socket at the bottom with three wires.

that way, it will look good becuase there'd be no adaptor on the bottom, and also i can have it charging in my car at the same time.

anyway, i want this patch for the vibrator really for an LED. i though if i take the car ariel gold thing out and put an LED there instead, and connect it to the vibrator's connectors, then i could have an led light torch as well1!! if it's not possible then i'll jsut make it with an extra butotn and connect it to the battery directly but i'm sure you people can do it?

well i know how it feels guys. i was the same when this phone worked. but tell me something. i've f**ked up the phone and it doesn't work. it's in my drawer. what do you want me to do, leave it there and spend more cash for another mp3 player whcih won't be anywhere near as good or stylish? and no games?!

basially, it's a waste of this "gem" if i don't do anything to it. and seen as i'm not using it as a phone, i may as well make it smaller by cutting off the arial. and make it more stylish with the led thingy.

btw, about the lighter idea, do you reckon that's possible? so the flame could be where the arial was. that would be cool.

anyway, so does anyone know how to do this vibrator thing?

P.S, don't be angry, the more mistakes i make, the fewer people willing to try it, and therefore the fewer sl45s broken :). and if i don't make a mistake, well then it's jsut like personalising it to what i need.

I would add a satelite dish to the phone so i would see TV on it and at same time could listen to mp3 tunes, instead of that vibration thing.

unless u want the vibration to act like a vibrator for some weird reasons :))

take it you didn't read the openning thread, it clearly says i don't want it for what you mean, but for an LED whcih will replace the car antenna gold thing connector. i figured if the vibrator thing doesnt work, then i'll just use the same conectors and put a switch on teh side of the phone.

yep i've seen many of them around. but that ruins the whole fun of it. anyone can buy a connector and stick an led on it. it's more interesting and far better looking if it's on the phone itself, although mine can't be called a phone anymore seen as i cna't call anyone.

i would fix it but i love my t68i too much to give it up to a monochrome screen. so now i have best of both worlds.
