How to enter codes in BlackBerry
1. Insert any sim card
2. Turn off all of the wireless connections
3. Go to Options
4. Select Advanced Options
5. Select SIM Card
6. Hit menu select show keyboard (where needed)
7. Type MEPPD or MEPD (you will not be able to see the typed info)
8. Enter MEP2 or MEPP2
9. Now it will say enter network mep code
Done !

in this model u dont need to have sim inside ...
just go to advance option then sim and type MEP2 u will get dialog box to enter code...
for sim reading u need to turn wireless on then will recon sim...

Well you haven't the menu SIM CARD in advanced options?

If you have such menu then just write MEPD and then MEP2 and remember write it even you don't see any characters

as said above u wouldnot see the typed word...
just from key pad type MEP2 u will see box to enter the code...
