Help please Tom Tom One Maps [Archive]

Hello, I just purchased a used Tom Tom One with out of date maps. I have read thru the forums about updating and tried generating an activation code with the key grabber but it does not work. Here are the details of the unit:
Device AKXAS A2GR2
App 7.903 (9183/081205) OS:2344
GPS V1.21, Boot 5.3029
Map USA_and_Canada' V665.1293

Can any please assist with updating the maps for Canada and the US...is there a guide for doing this?.

thanks, I got the latest maps loaded and working. I was wodering though the latest map does not have my street on it...I live in a subdivision that is about 4 years old...should this not be updated by now?.

Another question...can text to speach to added to a device that did not come that way?

I tried to load the TTS and now my device is stuck on the tomtom screen...it will not turn off nor will my pc detect it.

I reset it ansd still nothing...did I brick it?
