7210 prototype DEAD

I tryed flash 7210 prototype phone with 4.18 mcu version, now phone dead. old version stayed in phone is p1.89.
Who can help ? Who have p1.89 sw for 7210 ?

Never heard something from that version (1.20)...

Anyway, flash MCU and then PPM.

Wich devide did you used to make that? Griffin, afd, etc?

I've flashed these prototypes
with Neelix and Griffin and 4.18
all ok
Only need to set contrast with Phoenix after
flash finished cause phone will back with empty display

I was tried flash phone with free “Cheap flasher” and LP2002 flasher and with original Nokia hardware equipment., I have
Error, in flash area erasing. I can’t put all flash into phone. On 50% flash erasing procedure software show me “Erase Error ”, I tried flash phone with 6610 sw , no problem , flash can stay at phone , but i can’t switch on phone (Phone dead) .
How restore phone ?

I checked all hardware elements, all same as 7210 (original PCB)

Change UPP and this should solve all your problem

Use firmware 3.08 and set "Leave Factory Setting" and "Full Factory Setting".

I have changed UPP ,no result :(
3.08 can't work in my phone :(
Any solutions ?

Check if the UPP type is correct. After changing UPP, you have to reflash phones again. I hope that the UEM is still alive ...

hi,

there is a two solution :

1- chek upp and change it and flash the phone again
2- if upp and uem ok flash this phone with Neelix and all will be ok.

i solved same problem on 3650 prototype v1.43 with griffin first phone was die but tryed with autopower on griffin all was fine .

I flashed 6610 protype with Griffin, after flash phone had very bad contrast
it's possible repair it with Phoenix

For Prototype phone, you have to use AFD or neelix2 which having this selected function "Erase User Data". Unclick it. and usually this phone will be safe for flashing. As I can see that the prototype phones has a very sensitive USER DATA (maybe Nokia haven't fully developed it well before release). Try to reflash this phones with its content pack with AFD (Tested well with 6100 and 7210/7250/6610/6310i/3530/3510i)
