If is only disabled try with Phoenix - PKD-1 to activate, you need FLS-4 to program if BT is not programmed at all...

guciano,
i don't know i it is not activated or not programmed... i remember, that one of the 'improvements' in the new FW, was the flag for disabling BT for Israel. All the 6310i in israel are like that... menu 11 is simply missing....
what do you think?
what is PKD-1 and FLS-4?

PKD-1 is an HW dongle protection for Nokia service software in this case Phoenix.
FLS-4 is dongle and flasher ( two in one ) for Point of Sale Nokia shops & Level 1 service.

I will try to look tomorow in the office at some settings for 6310i phones for different market to see the diferences.... normmaly I think is require only activation using settings for another market area.

But If will require to full flash the phone to activate the BT be sure to get latest firmware 5.50 wich has a lot of problems corrected.

If you have only one phone to activate BT and this is only an hbby for you then is not worthed to invest in equipments and is better to find an service wich will do the work for an small fee.

well actually, there are a lot of new phone in the company that i work in... and no one (legaly) can not enable BT, since it still does not have ministry of com. aproval... therefore, we can enable them only by ourselfs.....
if you can find anything about it, pls let me know

I check and there is an small difference from Israel and the rest of europe with BT activated.
to activate BT use Phoenix and NPL-1 package:
just delete israel.pp file in ..\Products\NPL-1 dir
and copy euro.pp to israel.pp

then open phoenix menu: Product->User Setings ->All Setings.
in Browse select from NPL-1 dir file 0507283.ini wich coresponde to Israle market.
Load -> select from NPL-1 dir the same 0507283.ini file.

the BT will be activated.

If you will flash any 6310i for israel market after replaced original israel.pp with euro.pp the phone will have automaticly BT activated.

you will need:
PKD-1 dongle
Fbus cable
Phoenix Service SW
NPL-1 flash package.

and for flash
FLS-4 or FPS-8, FLA-22 & cable.

Just bought one in Israel thought that it will be simple to make the bluetooth work. Now it seems much more complicated.
Has anyone used cables/software and succeeded in freeing the phone?
