Hi!
3510i unlocking doesn´t work with cheap ChinaFalsher!!!!
3510 up to 3.37
If you have a higher version, you can downgrade, unlock and after all upgrade back to higher version.
But it doesn´t work for with all phones!!!!
If Phone doesn´t swith on after downgrade...
upgrade again to higher version and phone get life again :)

yes it does m8,
i managed to do one with my el cheapo dct4 flasher, it was a 3510i ....as long as u use the right loaders and correct model flash files !
i agree with the downgrade and then upgrade procedure you mention and it can end up giving you a working phone with no display....but try flash again...it will work
Note:
I flashed to unlock the 3510i and ended up with a blank screen i am not sure if it was just eeprom data needing set or not but i managed to revive my blank screen again :) thankfully
