The cable shematic is ok, but the pin outs are wrong.

The correct pin outs are:

pin 1 gnd
pin 1 link to 3
pin 2 link to 10
pin 5 +
pin 5 link to 12
pin 6 rx
pin 7 tx
pin 9 link to 14

schematics by kham 10000% fake
why you put ***t at forum, why you say 100% if you not tested before people like you may be banned

THIS THE 100% CORRECT SCHEMATIC TESTED BY ME 10 MINUTES BEFORE WRITING THIS POST

AT LEAST THE RIGHT SOLUTION WITH MAX232

1, 3 AND 14 TO GND
2 TO 10
6 AND 7 WITH 10k RESISITOR TO +5v

THATīS ALL

TESTED REALLY TESTED NOT LIKE OTHERS

UHK

EVERY ONE ON FORUM TRYING TO BECOME GENIOUS
SO PLEASE TEST YOUR PINOUTS FIRST AND THAN POST
OTHERWISE STILL CONFUSING WHICH 1 IS CORRECT ANSD WHICH 1 IS WRONG

FOR ME THIS SHEMATIC WORKS

PERHAPS THERE IS AN ANOTHER WAY TO MAKE IT WORKING

try to use an external power supply

it depends of comport technology

i have testing this cable on a laptop sony vaio

;)

thank you for your modification

kham
04-19-2003, 14:42
@pez8210

your comport don't provide enought power

i think is better to use external vcc like you

@chawki
which panasonic cable u use for sharp

pez8210
04-19-2003, 16:06
no Iīm not more clever as you but at your schematics you supply
power in pin 10 and 7 ok?

and the right pins for supply power are 6 and 7 cause are tx and rx nothing more.

with my new design you donīt need external power, you can supply vcc direct from 232 com port but in PINS 6 and 7

if you supply power in pin 10 and 7 you never unlock a sharp

Anyway thanks to kham for make me study better this schematics :)

Even the first pinout could put phone in test mode.
The problem is not putting phone in test mode but having comunication betwen pc and phone and none of the pinouts can do that (except maybe the one using max3316).

inox,
Your cable is correct, and the soft is correct. It appears you probably have either a problem with your COM port, or your GX-10 is a rare old version of the phone.
Please check the soft version by typing *01763*8371# with the phone switched on. Your ohone will display, for example: a01-002-0235-gx10. If it displays ...0087-gx10, your phone has currently no way of being unlocked. We have only ever come accross 2 such handsets, in our and other offices. They appear only to be a few in the U.K..
Good luck, and let us know!

tested schematics of pez8210 and works excellent

just met a version of GZ-10 A02-002-0235 dated 2003/01/27 that cant be unlocked with this software. Gets in test mode as usual and then unlocker stops.

farrell

0235 is a standard version, there is no reason why iy shouldn't work... strange, maybe there's a problem with your cable!

it stops after getting User Backup

the one i unlocked showed 0.0.7.0 and the one that cant open up shows 0.0.7.4 at the right hand corner once in User Backup screen.

Try removing the internal battery, waiting a minute, and replacing it again. It appears that phone has some problem! The version 0235 can be unlocked without problems!

wheres internal batery ? is the standard one ? got same problem, it stucks @ USER DATA BACK UP

it displays on screen @bottom right 0.0.7.4

sw version is A02-002-0235-GX10

The Internal Bettery is inside the phone, on the PCB. You have to remove screws from the back cover and open the phone.
If a version 0235 sticks on user data backup, your problem is most probably the cable.

Have you unlocked any other phones with your cable?
You must be doing something wrong, check your power supply and schematics.
