Caller BMP like in C35 --> SL4X?

Hiya,

I've checked the firmware of C35,S45 and SL45 & found them to contain some images that the C35 uses to display different callers. Is it possible to apply this feature to the Sl 45?

To me it sems close to the patch posted on displaying the location of the incoming call (home/office/mobile) at post:

*** Show an icon "home/office/mobile" on incoming call ***
Firmware : SL45v56, Author : Chaos, Release : April 15, 2003
in the FLASH PATCHES section

but it would replace the BMP's of the bell instead of adding an Icon next to the callers' name

Any ideas & suggestions welcome :-)

i like the idea...but we should rework that pictures, coz they are not that good...but that would be cool...anyway, i think it's to much work to make them editable...

Are u using Show an icon "home/office/mobile" on incoming call v03? Coze I've got problem that in divert calls I'm missing the last letter of the name. Is it "normal" bug?

I am using it, but during the last two days I've been so busy that I didn't even have time to play around with the phone.
