View Full Version : Dead GD75, but can be flashed.
I've got GD75, which don't power on. I don't know how it dead. I tried to flash it. Flashing is OK, but don't power on anyway and don't enter into test mode.
May be somebody have the same (or like) problem? HW or SW?
Thanks in advance.
if you flash it and crc is ok i think it's hardware problem.
Yes, CRC is OK. Phone is new.

Phone enters flashing mode but does not power on! Looks like hardware problem. I think something related to Power IC. You should desolder it and rebuild balls under it, or replace the whole circuit.
Please post results

After reballing CPU and Power chip, phone don't power up anyway. Erasing time 2 seconds. May be flash damaged? Somebody have version higher than A07?

No, 2 seconds is normal for GD75, they erase very fast. Still, I think one of the circuits is damaged, maybe CPU or power IC. You should check...
Good Luck
in this case most of the time the flash is damaged (i think the eeprom area is damaged) some times i have succeded in powering on the phone by unlocking it with gold tools .....
OK I'll try to change CPU and Power IC later...... But before, I want try to flash it with higher version. Somebody have it?
If you flashed the phone using goldtools then its already hardware problem...
For dead panasonic phones please read old post bout repairing dead panasonic phones...
I don't flash phone with Goldtools. And don't use this program at all.

Unfortunately, there is no specific topic related to this problem. Dead Panasonic solutions are related to erased boot & flash problem. In Chuk's case, phone can be flashed, then boot is OK!
Thus, this can either be a eeprom problem as syed says or CPU problem. Chuk, can you please read imei and other settings using ChannelBox, so that you can see if eeprom is storing information or not? Please post results...
