US GU-87. No camera sound?

Hello everyone.

I'm new to this forum and my new GU-87 phone.

I've been reading things about flashing the eeprom to remove the camera shutter sound in the GD87 phones using the A39 firmware.

Is this also possible with the US version of the same phone? If yes, what would I lose if I did flash the firmware to the A39? What software would I need to accomplish this? And where can I find this software?

My carrier is AT&T Wireless, and my phone is the GU-87 from AT&T Wireless. The software version is FB2AGAD87A38-38 (got this from the *#9999# code).

A39 was modified by CycloneFR from Net-Telecom to become A39 NO SOUND.

He only modified this firmware, and none other.

If you want to have A38 no sound, you'll have to modify it by youself.
