Hello
The Motorola-phone has got a nice feature.
When a call is incoming the phone rings. When you push the side-button (+/-) the ringing tone is temporarly turned off and the phone is ringing without any tone. At next incoming call the phone is ringing in "normal mode" until the side-button is pushed again...
Is it possible to realize this function in the SL45i too?
I like this function very much!!!!

you didn't understand me in the right way.
i want a function which turns off the ringing when i push a special key while the phone is ringing. and this should happen ONLY when i push the key.
i don't want to change the "profile" !!!!!

@#$!!! Then the phone is ringing -- press * for 1 second -- it's turn off sound and vibra!!! Read the manual!!! I always do it with my wife -- she hate it...;)

i can't check now but i'm pretty sure that ProHVost is right. i know it also changes the profile in standby mode, but when someone's calling you and the phone's ringing, pressing * will just turn the ringing off, wihtout changing the profile. when someone calls again it rings normally.
try it.

you are right!! i only pushed the button very short not for one second.
i have looked in the manual. and there it is mentioned too.
shame on me!!!
ok. now i know that the wanted function is already there.
BUT: can somebody make a little patch?? it would be nice if i don't need to push the button for one second...only one single touch would be fine
The Patch I really like to see is using Appointment/Alarm as a trigger:
- auto startup (long press red button when phone off)
- auto play: java midlet & mp3 player

yes, a sign on the kalender for the appointments would be really nice.
Perhaps like at the S55.
There are the days with appointments bold on the kalender!
Could someone patch vibra in SL45i, to a vibration known from C/S35 - short,quick vibrations ...?
