Sorry for not understanding,
but what exactly is this I downloaded it and got only a rar file,what should I do with it?
Is it a ready patch/gfx menu with the pics and the vkp file in it/
which I should only apply to my phone to achieve a ready gfx menu,without need to change the images?If it's this,this is exactly what I'm looking for!:)
So could You pls explain me by details?

I have a question. is there any way to use SyncStation as a datacable. I only have Syncstation but I couldn't run your program by using it. when I hit the APPLY button, it can not connect to phone. what's the problem? it says that I must switch off phone then connect datacable and I've done but the problem persists.

Turn phone off, slelect patch gfx menu...... click on apply button now connect the phone. its all. Try restart PC. (Work only with com1!!!) Sorry for my english

I've done all you said, but not working. I think something is wrong with my Syncstation. but I can go to multimedia card content with this syncstation. I examine all situations. with charger plugged in or out. phone on or off but doesn't work.
I did it with JAVA activator too but it also faild to establish a connection with sl45.

As you may know under windows XP and other windows there is driver you can install and use your phone as modem on a specific COM port. do u mean that I must intall modem or only Data exchange software is enough?

3- syncstation cable is connected
4- COM port is 1
5- the battery charging status in screen exists.
I run Two click, it repeatedly says: Conecting,............ and progress bar is going and coming.
what's the problem I don't know.

I'm curious how i can fix this problem.
can u tell me what's your settings in your device manager COM 1 port. mine is:
Bits per second:115200
data bits:8
parity:none
stop bits:0
flow control: hardware
my windows is XP. my sl45's firmware is updated from v23 directly to v56.
dataexchange software is working on COM 1 port.
what did I missed to fix this strange problem?
may it due to windows XP or not?
what about my serial port settings in BIOS?
can you please guide me with step by step instruction of flashing maybe I'm wrong in one step.

hi, i think you should have to be patient. it's just a timing issue. fon must be turn off. just put your fon in the syncstation but don't insert/connect. got what i mean? right after you click apply, abt 1 second, that's the time you insert/connect your fon. The other technique is to insert your fon in the syncstation right away. fon must be switched off! right after you click apply (after a second), short click red button on the fon. if these 2 technique doesn't work, try changing the setting. other works in 19200 bps. try n try until u succeed. :D

I'm patient and did everything you wanted me to do.didn't work. it seems there is a problem in connecting to COM port. I have another application which is JAVA ACTIVATOR and I have the same problem with that. it says can not communicate with phone.
I installed the data exchange software correctly and set it's COM port to COM 1.
Would you please guide me the exact steps of installing, configuring and implementing these patches?
Try to remove sim card. I couldn't do anything with sim card inside the phone. Maybe what i'm saying is stupid i don't know but with this method i managed to work with all the programs like java activator, v-klay, and so on...

I don't know what's the problem.
Press apply patch,then insert phone/switched off/in sync station,
if it doesn't work,do this again,play arround with the time,be patient and You'll succeed!;)
btw:You may try another way by pressing !briefly! phone red button,make sure it won't switch on!

Thanks for that cool soft. at last I did it in Windows 98 not windows XP. I should tell you that this program doesn't work under windows XP properly. It seems that something's wrong with COM port configuration. It doesn't recognize COM1 port.
on the other hand when I try to apply GFX menu , an ERROR box appears and said something is incorrect in port or parity and other settings.

Once again: It works with Win XP. Check YOUR system....
I also use Windows Xp, and the program worked for about three or four times, but after that when I try to change the gfx menu, I receve an eror , and in the com port setting it says COM1 kilk...
I dont know why. But if I try to change other things it works perfectly

1) Gfx menu work ONLY with fw. version 56
1.5) Flash firmware again
2) Download my soft. : www.sl45i.wz.cz
3) Select gfx menu and click on apply button

Undo this patch,then go to www.sl45i.wz.cz ,press downloads,choose the last program,choose desired gfx menu,apply patch,enjoy it!!!!:)
