Does this handset work only on G3 technology band?
Or if the handset was unlocked would it work on gsm900 and gsm1800 band?

i presume the handset would work with a 2g sim as it uses o2 as a roaming network when you are not in a 3g area so basing on that i think it would work fine on 2g ,
unless someone can put me right lol

three (the network the phones are on) will unlock these for £15 it's says in the paperwork that comes with the phone.
yep they sure will m8 but sadly if you didnt pay full price for your handset i.e you got it on a double up deal or similiar on 3togo
you have to pay a extra fee of about £100 as well as the £15 for admin fee
that is what i was told when i rang them (3 that is)
so if any one else is working on it would be a far better solution as i think 3 are well within there rights to recover some of the lost revenue by handing out cheaper handsets , but that doesnt mean i can afford nor want to pay that much cash , plus the one and only reason i want to unlock it is to use a payg card in it so that i can keep track of my spending which i cant do on 3togo as it is direct debit monthly, if 3 were to use a pay up front system then i would be more than happy to leave the phone locked ;)

everybody says no Solution no NEC's from 3G .. but there is fact that there are 3G phones circulating in London with T-mobile sim cards. Seeing is beliving and i just used one today .. the guy told me he unlock the phone in Camden Town for 10 pounds ... anybody knows anything about it ?

Ask the guy if he unlocked the phone at Mobile Repairs Service (MRS) also known as Embassy? Or did he unlock it on Camden High street.

@Krusty, i have sat and watched you go around every forum you can find and systematically try to destroy totelmobiles reputation, do you think this is good business practise? I, like richard have had this solution since xmas but where richard was unlucky enough to encounter interface problems between his pc and the program i was not, i am well aware that you were doing these unlocks for him whilst he sorted out his connection problem but do you honestly think you will gain a good name jumping on his posts saying I DO HIS UNLOCKING. we all have problems with different solutions and im 100% sure you have been in that situation also.

ha ha ha, i never said you were slagging him off did i?, i said you are going around telling ppl you do his nec unlocking, the only reason i can see for you to do this would be to take his potential customers and in turn his potential profit. people should be free to make their own minds up who to use, so why not just advertise that you do them WITHOUT claiming to do his also. there is far too much back stabbing in this business as it is so please dont add to it. as far as sour grapes well thats not the case i assure you, im doing fine from this.

its nothing to do with moderating, i just dont think its good business to do what your doing. I know that this solution costs a lot of money and rightly so you want to see a good return for your investment, but surely this isnt the correct way to go about it. Whatever your beef is with richard it cant be doing either of you any good for this to carry on the way its going. you need to sort it out in private and good luck to the both of you with nec unlocking.

It seem that there is secret codes or menu and some unlockers have this codes
There is a code or pass whitch clear all locks on phone (user lock splock ....)

YES, PAYGEE it's true and someone had unlock his nec22i by keypad only no cable no software and I'm trying to get this codes from him by interchanging some software that I have, The codes shall come a soon as I can in forum still waiting for It will come

I have an NEC606 that I've been trying to get unlocked in S.W. London for a week now. I have a NEC616V (sw 2v22) that I paid £10 in redhill & that was unlocked with crazzy+dongle. He said that this will not unlock the 606!
Then I took it into a shop in SW19 that said £8 to unlock but it would not work with TMobile, Virgin or Orange - then they called to say that their software couldnt unlock it too!
Can anyone out there explain what the problem is? I work as a Network Systems Eng: so I know a little about software, but I didnt want to spend hours trying a DIY PC solution. I need to use this on O2 PAYG & its on 3Uk. Thanks, Maxnet1@o2.co.uk.

Man TP solution described many times is working Fine Reading COdes so why the PPL were fighting FOr
read the posts you tool, he says his TP's are f***ed and i said there are other points on the pcb he can use!

software works in win 98 only run the loader and computer will restart then again run loader select mobile and comport and read codes put codes in mobile and enjoye
step 1
connect any 3g phone with out battery and install the driver and check the com in control panel
step 2
read the codes and enter in it

connect the testpoint and trying to unlock it but show me remove bettery now!
but phone is still lock i have check my another e606 connect testpoint trying
to unlock it's unlocked operation done
so i have read this flash file and write my first phone before i say's u still
unlock and then unlock it with furious cracked work fine

For me I used Philips savy cable with power supply (5 Volt)
And all ok for me.....Also I use needle insted of soldering so for me its fast ....And I did around 60 phones like this.....
So all the best.....

only Diffrence Between urs and Mine Soft if u See on the Top of the Soft Window its stated

And Mine is only heading " Furious Cracked Nec V5.2"
But forsure that does not mean.
