As topic, is it possible to copy the STK SIM Tookit menu contain from the original SIM card?? Since there is so nice function in there that I need to use frequently everyday. After cloned it to SIMEMU, those functions are lost.... :(

Hi Ken-mkII,
The STK menu are a function into emulator not data. You need put a program to this function.
I afraid you canīt "copy" a STK menu....

As I now, most functions in the STK menus are usually sending special SMS to specify number, and then waiting back the provider to send back the SMS to confirm etc....
Does it have a way to find out that the SMS format & phone number which use to send of the STK menu functions?
Since the original SIM card that I use has TWO phone number in the card(One Hong Kong, one mainland China), that you can use the STK menu to choose which one you want to use (Just like the function in SIMEMU but without PIN), other functions such as setting/cancel the devirt Hong Kong -> China or vesa are surely sending SMS messages "Underground". Why I SURE that is using SMS message instead of GSM function such as **62* is that, there is no way to devirt the phone number from Hong Kong to China or vesa back directly (As they use different provider, and there is IDD charge in it). So the SIM card provider use another method to devirt the call by using the 3rd phone number provided by the provider to interchange it.
If I lost the STK MENU, I can't set these functions when I use the cloned SIM.... :(

Hi Ken-mkII,
The STK can control by SMS but th STK are a function into the CARD. You must implemented a control (by program) into the card.
The STK is only a interface bettewn the terminal (phone) and the SIM.

Sir Graham.

If you use sim edit 4 you can see the special menu on the sim, and if you can log the command send from sim edit to Sim you can see the data....

enzullo, can you tell me what program to use to monitor the com port? I am using the "dumbmouse" driver on com2 to be able to use simedit4... but I cannot launch any port-sniffer because the dumbmouse is taking control of the port at bootup
(I'm using windows xp sp1)

Errr... But as the STK & files stored in SIM are standard, it means that you could dump the files out by standard command, right?
And if SIMEMU have looked this msg, pls drop a reply, OK?
I thought that SIMEMU knew how to do so, otherwise you can't added the STK menu in your simemu 4 or later, right??

Hi Ken-mkII,
To know the STK menu you need disassembler the SIMEMU or a program (emulator) with the STK menu....
... And the disassembler of SIMEMU or other kind of program are a "bit" ilegal...

Sir Graham
