I thought, it would be clever to have one topic we will post all our wishes for patches.
Please don't post any other things than just patch wishes, no comments, replys and things like that.
It would be nice if this TOPIC could be STICKY.
1.Moving SMS from SIM to ARCHIVE
It would be GREAT if someone could make some patch for automaticlly moving SMS from SIM to ARCHIVE, without manualy entering name.
sender ANA moves to archive as ANA.SMI
next SMS from sender ANA goes automaticlly as ANA1.SMI
Also, it would be great if there would be some possibility to move ALL SMS at once with that automaticlly renaming.

2.ANSWERING MACHINE
Now, if answering machine is ON, there isn't possibility to caller leave the voice message after hearing welcome note. It would be great if someone could make patch which will use dictaphone to allow caller leave it's voice message to the MMC.

I`m use лля 256 Mb now and basically I listen to music. The amount of tracks already is more 70! Tracks in a player by the big font on three pieces on the screen are displayed, that at drawing up playlist turns to a torment. So I throw up idea new patches.

Patch 5. Copy all Entries from Address book to SIM.
With this, no need to copy entries one by one. "Phone" will be the default number for the copied entry to SIM.
3.Turning ringer OFF and NOT cancel the CALL
On NOKIA 6310i, there is this VERY USEFUL thing, so it would be great if this is also and on SL45.
This patch would enable to when someone calls you you can just turn your ringer off, and not cancel the call

* Operate Menus with left side keys like jogg-dial ....
In stand-by mode the side '+' and '-' do not do anything. It could be used to enter 'Menu' for '+' and act like left soft key the '-' key.
When you are inside the Menu the '+' and '-' are normally used for navigation. Then the other 2 keys ( with 'circle' or 'triangle' ) are inactive. They can be used as 'right' and 'left' soft keys.

You have to push that button for about one second.
It would be very nice to change it to just one short press !!!

1. Make some NEXT SMS i PREV SMS shortcuts when reading SMS text, which redirects you to next/prev sms without going back to SMSlist.
2. Open oldest unread SMS instead most recent when there are new SMSes in the box and letter icon over left function key is displayed.
3. Make scrollbar in SMS list....
As I said this stuff really would improve SMS handling in SL45i which is really not so good.

Like in Sony J7, when keypad is locked you can turn the light on with green key and turn light off with red key. You can do that only when the keypad is locked and it is very useful at night when you just want to see the time.
Would it be possible to turn of vibra when the phone's alarm goes off and the phone is turned off.
i use my phone as an alarm clock so i turn it off at night. but every time an alarm goes off the vibra is turned on, and causes the phone to rattle around. I really don't like that :-/

I would like to have clock (hh:mm) displayed during a call. This is very important for me as I don't wear a watch and I always use my phone to see the time. But it is very often needed to see the time during a call and i used to say the caller, what time is it?
Playing MP3, while the phone is in the carkit cradle. The menu is disabled, normally. If it weren't it would be possible to modify the carkit, so that the MP3 would go through car stereo...

when i listening to mp3 and adjusting volume i didn't see the level of volume is it posible to show volume indicator like in ringtones volume level adjusting?
Is it possible to do a picture caller ID for SL45... same like C55 has whenever i assigned a picture to a particular number? That would be a nice feature to hav. :)
I like the patch: Assign any melody to any contact. But it would be great to correct it to use also Custom Ringtones

I have posted this before, but here it is again:
A patch to make it possible to play mp3's while the fone is charging in the sync station, coz when power is connected the phone displays the sync icon and the MP3 player is disabled...

If I open the Phonebook "arrow-down", I chouse a name and I'm starting a call with the "Green button", I get first a normal phone number not a mobile number.
Is it possible to change it?! I would like to start at first a mobile call.

If i wnat to record the current call then I must press 1st at the button on the side long and then i must press to admission. Is it possible to record the call with only a long pressure to the side button ?

While writing new SMS ,sometimes I press red button instead of right navigation key and SMS is gone,so I must write it again.I would like to see a patch that make confirm message "PRESS YES TO DELATE MESSAGE,OR NOT TO GO BACK"(or something like that, like it is on S45i)

The caller ID Patch is excellent. I try it on version56. works fine but when apply to version55 it does not work at all. As my SL45 is Siemens6688i..chinese version... anyone (RizaPn or anyone) can make a patch for Version55? Thank you

the patch didn't work when i tried it. I used my friend's fon to miss call me...bmp file is save in the Images folder...file sixe is 1102 bytes...filename is same with the last number of the calling person...no image appeared when my fon is ringing..:(..did i miss something? tnx

Change the emergecy mumber ??? (that is to put another number...) ;-)
fw56 = fw5601... 90%:)
but may be like 55: fw5501 - international, fw5508 - chinese
emergency number calling for free is a operator feature... I think that's possible to call some number with key locked, but that's useless:)
The reason may be that You wright "Images" but must be "images"

How about making a patch enabling the auto answering service without using handsfree and making a shortcut to it? If it is possible make the moblile answering emediately and not waiting for 3 rings. (sorry for my English)

How about one that disables that info box above the left softkey when there is no network and the fone is doing a network search... Coz when i have no network i have to go manually through the menu instead of using my left soft key shortcut (coz it changes into info...)

Is it possible to make som epatch which will allow to block some special number? Not just group, like OUTGOING CALLS. Maybe to make that in place of for exaplme OUTGOING CALLS, make blocking of some exact number?
You can use babysitter mode to allow You some numbers You want :)
It seems that Riza haz left us :) Coz there are no more new patshes for a long time :)
Or Our SL`s do not need any patch :)
Other News: Siemens haz quit to make the model named SL4x, and reserv parts for that model too..
So if somebody need a SyncStation, hands free or new cover run and buy :) , coz may be to late :)

I like the answering machine one from Dentin.
having a patch that allows user to select answering machine to automatically answer, and only play once (rather than it currently repeating) then everything is that is said is saved in the memory card under voice notice or something.

Hey there, i'd like to suggest something about sms.
An embarassing thing for siemens phones is that when you write a new message and for some resone, usually by accident, press the RED button everything is gone and you have to write the sms from the begining. Also when you have succeded to write the message and send it it doesent automatically saves it to outbox but you have to select save manually!
-So i suggest a patch which when u press RED the message would be saved automatically to outbox.
-Also when the message is send, automatically move to outbox and if its possible take us to stand by screen.
-Finally it would be nice if we have an extra option to our outbox messages which would inform us if the message has been send or its still pending(like ericsson), OR an extra menu at SMS for Status Report whrere the report messages would be saved(like nokia).
The last one its not so important as the status report waits us in stand by and there is no such a big problem unless we pressed RED !:)
But the two first are really a need because i am getting very angry when i loses my messages!:mad:
Even the Ericsson T10s which i had 5 years ago hadn't this problem!:eek:
Ok, sorry if kept u so long, and i hope some day i'll see the patch of my dreams waiting for me here in this thread!!;)

i'm using Print via IrDa for sms frequently, but printing one by one is tiring and it take one sheet of paper per one sms...:(
Of course, there is possibility to print via SL45I->IrDa->PC->Printer,
but i'am using SL45i->IrDa->Network Printer, without PC

Is there any patch for SL45i that enables the phone to divert calls from a specific caller!!?
for example I want to divert all incoming calls from John but not the calls from other friends. can it be done!?
I was thinking of a which enables the SL45i to play polyphonic MIDI files stored on MMC in headsets just like what MP3 player does.
I don't mean a polyphonic ringtone ....just listening to beautiful MIDIs using the headset like an MP3 file.

Could anyone modify the line with time and date. There is no need to display time when the digital clock is activated. There could be only date with full name of days and centered.

did you found the option to disable the time/date? I only have the time displayed as digital clock (operator clock). If you didn't found this look at menu->settings->device->clock->automatic viewing (I don't know that last one because I don't use English language).

there is no option in menu which you can disable time or date separately. you have or have not both simultaneously on your screen. totopol means it's nice to be able to disable displaying time on screen but date still exists and in complete form. e.g: "Sunday, 06.07.2003"

it is also possible to make that SMS password function patch working on the Archive? Because my simcard only can restore 7 SMS messages and this is not very much. So I write them to the archive but from there they are readable also when I have activated the SMS password function. Would be a nice one (for me ;))

There was an option on ericsson phones, it created lists of accepted calls, Any caller outside the list will be given a busy signal. You can then divert (When busy) to a number. If the siemens could have this options of accepted list. It would be great
It would be great if we concenterate on the GPRS, it is one of the most important functions missing in the phone.. Can we add MMS?

when someone is calling me the phone screen light on but after seconds it gose off even when the person still calling , is there any patch that makes the phone lights continues turned on as long as the one is calling and the lights turns off when the ringing stopes(as Nokia and other phones) ??? .

Since there already exists a wav->vmo converter, it shows that vmo files are smaller that mp3 files..now i wonder if there is a patch that would enable SL45i's mp3 player to recognize vmo files too so we can make a playlist of the songs and randomly play them..
if this is not possible, then i hope it is possible to enable continuous playing with the vmo files..

Is there any chance to make some patch or this is hardware bug, to make phone play sounds at once high as it is selected and not first with that lower sound which makes many of ringtones, for sms, can't be heard at all.
Is there any chance to someone makes patch which could enable renaming sms in archive?

is it possible to make our sl45's startup animation to be reading 20 different images (20 frames) instead of 2 cycles of 10 different images.. this will use on_1.bmp to on_20.bmp
also, is it possible to have a patch that will tell you how many "new message " you have on the main screen and how many missed calls..

Mp3 player stops when i am getting a phone call and accepting it.

when sms has been received a message is shown on the screen that lasta VERY LONG and nothing can be done. Any patch to shorten this time (1 second message would be really enough)

I've just put here some ideas that I would really appreciate
for my SL45i:
- the patch 'unlocking for MP3 playing with double-click on Play button' doesn't work like this but more as a 'unlocking with one click on Play button' which is not that good. A good solution would be to set a timer of 1 second or less after the first click and then if the second click doesn't come, locking the phone back.
- F-Forward when playing MP3 is one of my favourite patches.
But it still can be improved: The quit function should go to the stand-by menu, so we can use Voice Dialling and Voice Command back. The proposal of a double click
for going to NEXT song and using the long press for Fast Forward sounds also great.
In any case, thank you to the author of the FForward patch.
- in the addressbook the shortcuts of the left softkey still appear on the screen even if the function is not available. let them disappear!
- patch for the icons before the name of the caller: I still need the international format.
would be better without because when you enter someone's number live, you don't add it to let it be quicker.
- I can't divert calls anymore, the option doesn't appear in my menu when I'm on a call.
- error in patch read SMS while locked -> my PTT function doesn't work, so I can't use Voice Command for MP3 for instance !
- time display when playing MP3. Great patch. I use to flick through the menus
on quest of the time. A small improvement can be made:
either it should be updated when time changes, or it should be removed after a while.
The best solution should be to update it and to remove it when pressing the Green Key again.
- same wish for the volume. Let it disappear after a while.
for those two patches, when they disappear, the name of the song should ideally be displayed again

Hello friends! What do you think about the patch, which can show numbers of incomming and missed calls, like on S45i or S55....
Great Patch - we often mentioned it and everyone of us wants this great patch but none is working on it...I think...
I think I speak for everyone of us, when I say a patch for deleting single calls in callerlist would be great!(Sorry for repeating but I think these TWO patches are the most importants patches)

I used programme Sx45CZ (with SL45i). Very interesting function is in him. After send SMS (option "report of deliveries" must be ON) and arrival report we disconnect telephone from cable. Therefrom moment reports come as usual SMS! Informing about arrival icon appears new SMS and in report from time number be identified with registration in telephone book. This is very comfortable, but it stops acting after disconnection telephone. It will give oneself to start this on solid? If the author of programme Sx45CZ be able to then some of wise heads could it will think up how to make this :)
