View Full Version : simemu 6.00s: Verify failed at address 1000h !

Hi all!!
after the problems this afternoon, I decided to try to flash another silvercard
Well... I tried with THREE different cards, and I always get this error with IC-Prog:
Verify failed at address 1000h !
the address is always the same
I tried to re-download the ZIP file, to re-extract all files, to use the "preconfigured" 6.00 that comes in the zip, to use the spanish one... I always have that same error
then I reflashed simemu 5.00 and I had no problems at all
it's a bit weird... any1 else had problems? any suggestions on how to solve this?
I checked the HEX values and I found out it writes "only" 2 wrong values... but this obviously prevents from having a working simemu 6.00 :(
is there anything I can do? any way to "manually" patch these 2 words?

with icprog try to set delay to 15 or more in hardware menu

I use IC prog and cant write card! After check IC prog tells error on adress 0000h! Maybe i do smth not correct?
I have Silver card and JDM Programmer! version 5.00 writes correctly and works very good! After that i erased card and open SIM_EMU_6.00_CFG.exe select 6.00s and ADN,SMS,FDN!
After that i run ICProg open SIM_EMU_FL_6.00_ENG.hex and selected card type 16F877! And start writing, but after writing programm tells check error! Maybe i can write in anoher programm (not ICProg) but here is only one file, maybe i need smth from old version (pic or eepom)? Can anybody help me?

Got the same problem with icprog 1.05A ...
Don't Know why but that's all ok when I program it with version 1.04A

First write the flash with CPD unchecked.
Once verificated correctly, check the CPD and Program Configuration Bits only.

I already tried checking and/or unchecking CPD, I tried checking other options too...
I will try with 1.04

I finally have been able to flash it!
I used ICProg 1.04A... it was A LOT slower than 1.05A in programming, but I have eventually been able to flash SimEmu6.00s onto my silvercard!

also thank you to simemu for support and, of course, for creating the wonderful SimEmu ;)
btw... is an Italian release planned for SimEmu6? if not, how can I help by providing the translation? should I just edit the HEX file with italian words?

can you please tell me how to program the configuration bits only using icprog ?
Option "Command" and then "Program Config" or F4 key.

i'm sayingthis coz i'm using my card now without programing it by checking crd...

the card is always rejected.
after read it, it shows some fuses enabled and code protected.
how to total erase it?
