@ simemu:

would it be possible to make a simemu release where user can configure not only FDN's, ADN's and SMS's, but also the number of positions for phone no's?

this way an user with a silvercard could decide to have i.e. only 5 entries, but with some more SMS's, ADN's and FDN's

I don't know if what I am proposing is possible at all, and if erasing some # entries could have a big effect on saving memory

greetings :)

we are expecting the new version for reduce phone number and more saving memory.

Best regards.

Each position wastes 113 bytes.
With 113 bytes it is possible to have 3.5 ADN or 0.64 SMS.

With 2 positions occupied. we will have 8 * 113 = 904 bytes for ADN's and SMS's (28.25 ADN's or 5.13 SMS's)

To manage dinamically the amount of positions, I'll have to waste more flash memory and we will loose some ADN's more (some of them are in flash, exactly 51 ADN's)

The only possibility perhaps could be a new configurator. But my next project is the conversion to Funcard that I think to begin after my holidays.

ok, that was just what I supposed, the gain in space would be little and almost useless, and the work to implement this would be too much for the little gain

thank you for the explanation, simemu ;)
