Hi,
I have green2 card with simemu 6,and allways says "sim card not accepted".With simemu 5 is all OK.Can anybody help me?
I did try a lot of phones,and result is same.
Where I doing a mistake?Card is configured like green card ,250 ADN,40SMS,10 FDN.

Hi, ur problem is opposite mine.
I've programmed my GC2 only one time and it works fine.
After programmed my 1 SC and 1 GC with v600 by configuring ADN, FDN, SMS for each kind of cards, no problem occur while programming, all successfully verified, but they don't work on my phone with the message "Simcard rejected" !!!!!!! After reprogramm for many times also no problem but they still don't work !!!!!
Any suggestion for solving this problem will be much appreciated.

OK, after trying to reprogram by changing some settings, this time after programmed and insert card to phone it works!! Asking for Enter PIN number instead of "Simcard Rejected".
..... I change IC-Prog from v1.05a to 1.05.
Before clicking Program, I select CP Off in the Code Protect Box...
This method makes my cards work ( 4 cards, 3 SC and 1 GC)
but I don't know is there any problem hiding inside, just let me test for sometimes and I'll let you know the final results.

The card is rejected if the version put in the card does not correspond with the type or the files was not correctly written.
The SIM-EMU hang itself if it detects incorrect file versions.

Could u pls explain the difference between 1 SC programmed by CP Off and 1 SC by your default.
Now, I can programm my SCs successfully with CP Off and CP by default by setting ADN=150, SMS=15, FDN=5 and all these cards work properly.
I notice that with IC-Prog v1.05a, no problems when programming but these cards won't work when put in the phone.
With IC-Prog v1.05, all my cards work after programming. I've tested for many many times. I don't know why?:rolleyes:

Activating the protection of the last 256 bytes of the flash, it makes impossible to write the flash again without making a total erasure.
With this protection, it is impossible to write a special program capable to read our KI's located in the internal EEPROM.
I use ICProg 1.05A without any problem all the times.

With me, now it's working fine, version 6.00 and 6.00s, and i use icprog 1.04.
The problem of every one, i think because it happens to me, is when configuring the flash filie.
1) input langunage prefix in the config program that is in teh zip of simEmu 6.00
2) select box with 6.00, or s or g
3) select number of ADN, FDN and SMS
4) click on the buton to update.
and then it should work
That is that I said in another post.
Enter the prefix language (this reads the flash and show the file data), then enter the rest of the fields and press Update.

Hi,
How to erase green card?Allways when erase card with option ic-prog says card erased.After that when I write simemu 5 allways card is "live" like before.

Yes, I tried everything, but SimEmu6.00s do not work on my Nokia6210 (sim rejected).
I did:
1) input language suffix (ENG) in the SIM_EMU_6.00_CFG.exe
2) select radio button 6.00s
3) select number of ADN (151), SMS (10), FDN (47)
4) click on the buton "Update SIM_EMU_FL_6.00_ENG.hex"
5) "SIM_EMU_FL_6.00_ENG.hex Patched OK!"
6) programmed eeprom on silver card with SIM_EMU_EP_6.00.hex (with dejan's programmer, but first I opened eeprom file with IC-PROG and then saved under same name but for eeprom 24c64)
7) programmed pic with SIM_EMU_FL_6.00_ENG.hex (several succesfull attempts, with dejan's programmer, with IC-PROG cp-on, cp-off, ...)
But, everytime when I try to use sim, my phone reject it!
With 5.00s everything work fine.
I did everything right, didn't I? Where is a mistake?
How did you program the external EEPROM ?
Are you sure it is ok ?
Does the phone ask the PIN ?
If the message is SIM Rejected before ask the PIN, the card is not correclty programmed.
I programmed external eeprom, through dejan's programmer. The same procedure (dejan's programmer) I'm using when I'm programming SimEmu5.00, and have no problem with that version. I programmed pic flash memory several times also with IC-PROG (which can working with dejan's programmer hardware), and again no problem with 5.00, but with 6.00 card rejected.
With SimEmu6.00, card DON'T ask for PIN, just waiting some (long) time, and then pop up message "SIM REJECTED". When card is blank (erased flash on pic) then phone don't wait that long time, instead instant show message "INSERT SIM"
I even tried following combinations:
1) programmed silver eeprom with 5.00 eeprom file and pic with 6.00 flash file:
Same result "SIM REJECTED"
2) programmed silver eeprom with 6.00 eeprom file and pic with 5.00 flash file:
Card ask for PIN, and working (!), but some of proactive menus (Sim-Emu5.00) don't work
So, my conclusion (from this testing) is that 6.00 flash file is problem, because 5.00 flash with 6.00 eeprom partialy working and asking for PIN!
I did everything right, step by step, while configuring 6.00 flash for silver card. I don't know where is a problem. I did configuring 10-20 times, and always same results.
The 6.00 flash has no problem.
There are many people using it.
The 6.00 checks the correct writing of the external EEPROM, if it is not ok, it don't work.
For this reason, I suppose that your problem is in the external EEPROM programming.
Can you read the external EEPROM written in the card using the Dejan programmer ?
Try to use a Phoenix programmer to program the EEPROM.
PD: Don't mix the external EEPROM files between versions.

I turned on verifying eeprom after programming, and eeprom is verified succesfuly after programming. I cannot read external eeprom because dejan's programmer cannot do that.
Can I build JDM and try to programm eeprom with JDM and IC-PROG?
One question: because I'm still using SimEmu5.00, can I turn-on code protect (form IC-PROG while programming flash) without negative affect on SIM? I tried that, but after that I cannot set ACM on any of phone lines.
If the dejan's programmer does not read the external EEPROM, it is not possible to verify it and I am sure that your problem is in that.
To write the external EEPROM you need a Phoenix. The JDM is to program the flash only.
In the 5.00 you can only set the CPD configuration bit.
Activating the code protection you will obtain several problems.

Dejan's programmer cannot read eeprom on card, because there is no option for "read" eeprom (or flash). But, while (after) programming, it can read and verify.
Dejan's programmer do all card programming of pic and eeprom automaticaly:
First it load loader on pic, then programming eeprom (through loader), then verifying eeprom (through loader), then programming pic, and then end.

Hi,
My problem is solved now.For write eeprom I used Phoenix and Dean interface.My old interface(bitch-mouse) was broken,I´m afraid.I edited eeprom (thanks simmemu for tip) for use like motorola test card.
I used simemu v 5.00 before,and with my prepaid card (Eurotel-sk) the call was terminated after 30 seconds.Now is all OK.The second card is Orange and it´s OK too.

I finaly success to programm silver with SimEmu6.00, and to make SIM which working...
The eeprom file (which I shortened for silver, with IC-PROG) was bad!
I think it will be good to put in SimEmu6.00 .zip separate eeprom file for silver (and green1), for those people (like me) who do not use IC-PROG and phoenix, or similar software & hardware.
Dejan's programmer works fine, but it programm whole eeprom file over eeprom, even if file is greater than eeprom (32KB over 8KB). When I last week changed eeprom file (with IC-PROG) to be shorter, some mistake ocured (I do not know how and when), and file was bad (8KB like it should, but some bytes different from original). When I did it again (yesterday), file was finally OK, and SIM started working.
Daniel, I translated flash file to Yugoslavian language (Serbian, Bosnian, Croatian). Have you some interest for that translation (to send to you)?
If you send me, I put it in the ZIP.
But in this moment I have my PC dead, but when I revive it, I'll update the ZIP.
