I currently have a R380 World with the following firmware versions:
Phone: 010221 1240 CXC112181 R1B05
Organizer: 010613 1756 CXC112191/1 R5A02
I have a few newbie questions I hope you guys can entertain.
1)How do I physically update the firmware? With the included RS-232/Serial cable or do I need new cable?
2)Where can I get the latest FW files and the program to write to the phone?
3)Is it possible to flash my phone to a R380e, R380s, R380sc? If so what are the differences between them?
Edit: Im assuming only the R380 World will work in the US since its the only one which supports GSM 1900, but isn't that a hardware limitation??
4)Can someone list some of the major changes made in the lastest FW revisions in the R380x line becuase I have no idea.
