8310 resets

I know this has been covered before, but my 8310 keeps resetting itself and going back to the main screen. Sometimes i dont even have to touch it, it will quite happily sit there on the desk and keep reseting itself. It will just return to the main screen. I've been reading through previous posts and the answer seems to be to upgrade to a newer firmware.

I've already got 6.04 though :confused:

The phone is quite new, shall i just try and get it replaced, or is it likely to happen again?

some 6.04 new units resets continuosly ...you must reflash and mistake is fixed............

How do you reflash?

Is it worth trying or shall i just send the phone back for a replacement? Only problem is I dont want to go a week or so without the phone.
