Griffin killed wifes 3510

Griffin box killed my wifes 3510, I attempted to upgrade it for her , my box is activated, using newest sw version with 9volt power supply at 1amp (Ive tried it with 10volts at 1.2amps aswell)

phone was version 3.37 and i tried to upgradi it to 5.00,
I assumed phone had to be OFF as with dejan flasher and attempted flash and powered phone on, at one stage phone went in to local mode... I disconnected phone and removed battery and tried again.... and all I keep getting now are the error messages below, phone is totally dead, I tried flashing it with this computer( pentium 120) and also on a windows XP machine and all to no avail...

any help would be much appreciated, even step by step as i have realized Im a novice to this griffin box, give me my dejan box any day.

use cheap flasher. No need to read user manual . . .
You killed your phone, not griffin.

I dont have a cheap flasher and am not in a position to buy one, especially after wife seen cost of griffin box... anyway I assume you dont know of a solution to revive the phone?

check the cable, some time its cause by the cable.

Connect phone to box, psu to box, box to PC PIII@800 minimum, check manual mode (no serial detect) choose MCU&PPM, and pres sFLASH button. No need to touch anything on phone.
If you still get same error, than you might need to use older fia pack. But, if your phone HW is OK, you'll have working phone buddy.
Cheap flasher is realy cheap now.

Hi, seeing as Im reasonably new to the griffin box Im unsure about changing FIA packs so any help would be invaluable.

As what legija says it is much prefered if you use the good old cheap flasher, sometimes you have to interchange the use of the flashers for this type of phone. If you can't work it on the griffin side then try the old one i hope it will help your wifes phone.

goto support site for Griffin and download new flash pack (v3.00), delete all files in Flash folder, install downloaded flash pack...

but i think it is not fia files problem, use software version 1.986 and set your LPT port to EPP

Flash your phone...

Actually I did buy her another phone today, a 3510i which I wont even look at never mind flash... Ill try the suggestions as posted above and see what happens.

i think you should use dct4 cheap flasher..
cause i have 3530 n i flash by griffin, the problme is same with you..
but when i flash with cheap flasher, i work man ;)

As I said above, I am not in a position to buy cheap flasher, no matter how cheap it is... I thought I was buying the best when I bought Griffin... Ive tried to download the fia pack version 3.00 but twice it downloaded and the file has been corrupt (.RAR) I downloaded it again last night and when I tried to unzip or unrar the file it was EMPTY! can somebody unzip it and e-mail it to me please? or post a working link to where I can download it preferably UNzipped....
