hi

when i try to program the 24C128 eeprom on my green card i ALWAYS have the error "resetting data failed" on ic-prog 1.04a when i try to program the eprom file of simemu 5 or 6 .

What do you think it's wrong ? I tried 2 different phoenix smartmouses and both don't work. I tried different frequency settings .

Who can help me to solve this problem ? Do you think it's my green card that is broken ? i don't think so... Is there a way to *COMPLETELY* erase flash+eprom on it ? it seems that i can erase only flash and not eeprom...

really dunno what's wrong ... please help me.

thanks.

james

Depends on the eeprom... If you mean internal eeprom, which is inside the PIC, it's erased along with the flash.

If you mean the external eeprom... you can only read/write it trough PIC.

I have the same problem with a card... PIC is OK, programs and verifies OK but the card does not give an ATR... perhaps an oscilator problem... maybe I broke the connections to the external eeprom when I cut the card (bending it)...

that's exactly what i thought :(

perhaps i bended the card (although it seems perfect) when i cut it :((

With another green (identical to the previous one) everything is ok.

Now the same green card started to give me strange errors when programming the PIC : it seems to write non-correct data each 22-23 bytes ... :( i think it's dying :/
