Hi i am trying to program a silver card with sim-emu 6.00s but have problem trying to prgram the EEPROM.:mad:
When i try to programm it i get the following error:
RESETTING CARD FAILED.:mad:
I can program the PIC successufully.:eek:
I programmed it before with the 4.10 version having the same problem but can't remeber how i solved it.:)
Does anyone had the same problem or can tell me were is the problem?:confused: :confused: :confused:
I have tried it with the IC-PROG and also with the WINPHOENIX software having the same problem.
Any Help will be apreciated.:(

try this procedure:

1) using ic-prog and pic programmer program your pic with a loader .

2) using winphoenix and smartmouse program the eeprom with sim_emu_eeprom_file

3) with ic-prog and pic programmer erase the pic and program it with the sim_emu_pic_file

Have you been able to bring them back to life that way? Which loader do you use? why not the phoenix mode of ICProg?

@Eurocrypt:

I have a card with a PIC that programs fine and verifies OK but in phoenix mode, after beeing programmed with simemu, won't answer to rest... another card from the same batch works ok... could this be a faulty EEPROM or just simemu crashing because of bad external EEPROM contents?

Do you have a solution? mail it! :)

If this happens with only 1 card but otherīs OK
I think Card must be faulty.

My solution for Enzo was to test my own Phoenix-soft,
dont know if it will help You.

If You want to test it I can mail it to You.

My Phoenix soft has:
Configurable Read/Write Cmndīs
and selectable EEprom Size

yes with this procedure i resume 2 silvercard....

if you need the loader i can send it to you , on week-end i go home and can send it to you.

Can i try your program ?!?

if you are interessed i have a source code of pic programmer written in C++

I have tried how you said but get always thr same error:
RESETTING CARD: FAILED.

Change the card and try with another one!
