Hi everybody!
I just got a Panasonic GD87 from my brother as a graduation gift, but I have trouble unlocking it. I phoned Vodaphone but they can't give out the code to my phone until the 1st a Dec. :( I've found out that Panasonic Logger V6.0 works for my telephone, but I can't find it anywhere :confused: I would be greatful for any tips or hints. Hope someone can help me!

Thanks for the fast reply! However, I can't even receive the logs from the program. When I push "Read" the program connects to the phone. A few moments later i says: reading... and then it says something like Can't get logs because of firmware version 2... =( Plz help!

I have the same problem, i need a new reader...

I had a GD87 three month ago, i unlocked it and everything was fine. Then i had a bright idea, -Lets upgrade it!
So, my computer went dead in the middle of the upgrade and my phone wouldnt boot at all.
So i send it to Panasonic in sweden and said:-Hey, my phone went dead, i dont know how!
After 2 week they send me a brand new one, my current phone.
But this new has the new version, so panareader cant read from it...
Thats where i am now...
So, thats my story, can anyone help me please?
sorry i have formated my hard drive and icq has gone awaaaaaaaaaay

in this serial cable two points are available to connect the battery with voltage 4.5

Okey "Orreborre" I see... My brother "just" got this phone for me so I think it has A39 installed. I've been thinking of downgrading it but it seems to risky. And I don't want to buy a Vodaphone Pre-Paid card because I have Comviq, and all my friends do. Isn't there a new program comming for the "new" GD87's that me and Orreborre have???

To make this clear: The Ghost program doesn't work!!!
Here's exactly what the program says:
Press the power button...
Reading phone data...
Error reading phone data!
Then a windows comes up and says:
Panareader5v0
Can't read data from this phone!
Phone firmware version: "GD87 2"
Please send this info to: Ghost3d@vip.hr
Please help!!!!! =(

I prefer not to down or upgrade cause the last time i did it everything went wrong...
I´d like Panareader 6 instead, i´ll be happy to pay someone to give me the code, if i just could read my logs...

this mans sarcasam sickens me just buy a log mate logger will read your phone make the log ect i am certain gsmhacking will
sell you 1 log AWAIS you must be one of the famous 900 real
unlockers i dont think just person with to much time on your hands must have a corner shop

Well I sent him a couple of e-mails but I haven't really got an answer yet. However I've got Reader 6.0 now, but I need a "fingerprint" to access it :-/ Does anyone have a fingerprint?

you need logger or downgrade then unlock SPUNLOCK cheep enough personly i would not flash phone if i dont have to

I get exactly the same info as "orreborre". I guess that this program doesn't support the A39 firmware. I have the A51 so I guess it's quite hard to read the phone then too :-)

Hi. your fone is something wrong. fone unlock is block. no way to enter the code in the fone. you need to fix your IMEI number first.

No, the problem is that that the phone has A51, and the program cant read that...

that free software I have tested on A19 and A21 also...yes it works..
but only to old firmware version....
don't think that it can unlock all version like GU87 A38 and A39 afterward... they ARE TOTALLY DIFFERENT THING
if all version are just the same!! why READER 5.0 not supporting some new version ?
and why there is READER 6.0?

So you need to downgrade to A19 or A21 by winmodo SW first. then you can unlock it free (not the LOG, is code come out) by Spunlock Sw, find the http://www.gsmhelp.pwp.blueyonder.c...by_SPunlock.rar

but don,t worry use logger 5.0 or free soft from spunlock to read codes
and afterthat flash same old version which u have at first
u also need to have A39 version as a backup
because above A21 phone has different algo

that method is totally workable
but please read the instructions very carefully and get a GOOD .rel file (since many files on net has some bugs...
actually, I got a A22 file b4...when I flashed to it ...phone can't switch on --> same as what UHK mentioned)
or u might kill your phone
(half killed)->can be repaired by flashing again)
(full killed) -> no response to WINMODO signal --> please read UHK solution)

I am trying to unlock GD87 from vodafone
connecting it with GD92 unlocking cable, isolated 4 and 10 pins
spunlock gives me:
Press POWER ON.......... OK!!!
Detecting phone type...
and nothing esle happens
channel box doesn't see the phone, saying
there is no comms with headset
loggers don't see it either
what is the problem, what do you think?
