@ pandemonio1000
what did you use to upgrade the phone?? which software??
div 6.2??
maybe loading a previous version of the AVR may help . once you have loaded version R6 try to see if that works and then reflash to R7.

ciao

Hi

As far as I know, this happens when there is a software mismatch with ARM and AVR flashes. I think your ARM flashing is somehow bad or it is just not flashing but simulating. I also faced this with T68. My problem resolved by repairing ARM flash.

Well, I didn`t repair it myself, but the master who did that said, he desoldered ARM flash, rebuild balls under it and replaced it back. After that my ARM flashing done as usual as before repairing but phone worked without freezing problem.

Yes ,but many times it's hw problem. Try to give it some hot air, but not too much, because of the glue. Anyway these phones with these symptoms are not stable and will crash sooner or later

@ Pandemonio,
so what I'd suggested worked !!!
Kewl !!! I'm glad I was of help :)
HW intervention is something I'd allways leave to a specialist and would avoid . If the warranty has expired you'd probably be better with a new phone. You could allways sell all the other working parts for spares - on ebay there are people that would surely purchase the various parts .

Just to add something.
I have one T65 with same problem, but ARM flash chip is not glued. After flashin with same revisions of FW, nothing changed.
I've removed ARM flash IC, and, gues what ? Phone was working with same bugs, of course.
But, problem was in damaged board, unit was droped, and arm flash balls were broken. Also, few balls are missing, together with PCB pads. Finaly, i was unable to repair phone, bacouse of missing PCB pads.

Hi

Of course, most of the people here do not know that phone is still working even if ARM chip is bad, broken or missing but it faces problems like Pandemonio100 indicated. I even saw a phone with NO Network when ARM chip is bad (phone dropped).

Yes, when balls are missing, you can repair it. However, broken lines can not be repaired. PCB should be replaced then.

Still, I do not know and couldn`t carry experiments with ARM chip replacement. Of course, I am mentioning empty flash chip. Is it possible or not, I will try later when I get an empty new flash...

YOu can do it, of course. There is no any other data in those chips.
Except in T610 as i heard.
