Ok - I give up.
Either I have the wrong cable or I am just to stupid. Anyway I don't get the codes. I tried everything (CTE Terminal, Phone Info Reader, etc...) but I don't get any data enabling me to unlock my phone.

So could anybody out there help me?

I don't know what you need, so I'll post everything I find. Here it is:

Sony J70

IMEI: 350668341131456
Network lock
MC=262 MN=14 D14
Service Provider 10

Alt. SIM Lock
Network lock
MC=214 MN=07
MOVISTAR

Need anything else?

do you have logger and calculator, then read log from phone and calculate it. then enter simlock and wap lock

simlock with *#7465625*12*simlock#
wap lcok with *#7465625*22*waplock#

try it

great essojay!

If that would be working without any problem, would I be posting a request for a code here?

i think you have entered wrong codes

check your phone's imei

not from backside of the phone
check it by pressing *#06#

if it is 000000000000000000 or ???????????????????????

then:(

hello awais,

I definetely havn't entered the wrong codes, because I couldn't even get the codes. As I wrote above I tried everything to read the phone, but I can't get a logfile to work with.

The IMEI Number I wrote down DOES come from the *#06# command.

And since I somehow can't read the phone I thought -wow there is a "Phone unlocking codes" thread, maybe someone will help me by providing me with the codes I need.

And this is the correct data of my phone:

IMEI: 350668341131456
Network lock
MC=262 MN=14 D14
Service Provider 10

Alt. SIM Lock
Network lock
MC=214 MN=07
MOVISTAR
Service Provider10

Sorry,
looks like I am making a fool out of myself.

I looked in this thread and saw others who just posted their IMEI and other forumites were so kind as to post the codes.

I thought that is what this thread is for, but I am pretty new here, so I probably have misunderstood something.

As to the cable. It works. The PC recognizes the phone at least the PC (the CTE Terminal) turns to "phone ready" when the phone is started, but no matter what - I can't create a logfile to work with.

@sionnachan,

For you to be in terminal mode with CTE you have to read and calculate wap lock when you have phone ready, you type

pw waplock (if your waplock starts with 0, ignore the 0 and type the remaining s 7 digits.

Then you can unlock all simlock by typing SLDEFAULT and you can change imei too. so many things you can do in this mode.

But in the absence of the waplock you can still get into terminal mode by using the software CTE mode enabler that you can get from www.r00t.host.sk and then you can use CTE terminal commands as above.

you can contact me on icq 172132106

You have to modify your cable or you will never get CTEterminal to work with the advanced commands. Although your phone may say ready does not mean you can use all commands.
You must find out your wap number then type:-
pw (wap code).
A good way of checking this is with C****abler. Once you have done the pw (wap code) C****abler should say "on" when run.
If you need the software let me know.

Good Luck !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
