i solved my 3650 virus problem using a a complete backup of my phone files and settings i had saved in PC suite several moths ago. aside from reverting back to exactly how my phone was a that time, problem solved, virus is gone!!!!

Try to factory reset the phone with Griffin or AFD.

Factory reset is useless for symbian OS.... use AFD to format user-data.

Yes this method does works on certain problem, but if for phones that "hang' and unable to press any button at all, end of the day your still have to use this equipment for repair. If just only buttons will solve this problem, NMP will not add "Format user data" in Winpheonix for fun.

Yes. you are 100% right. Symbian OS does not works on full factory reset at all. Full factory reset is only meant for phones Eeprom only.

This is for everyone reference.

Problem which caused by Symbian OS phones (7650 and 3650)
1) Memory Full
2) Contact Retailer
3) Application error prompted while you are trying to access it.

Maybe there will be more things happen with this phones in the future........

Yes, the above mentioned is one of your problem. We can't do anything much without using others tool to solve it. No point of crying over here if you don't even know what is it about =))).

AFD is a dongle from bpreaks Advance Flashing Device.
That can flash DCT4 phones.

TRY WITH MY SOLUTION !!

install the system tool in your memory card and then format the phone, before you format you must back up the important files and then format, wait ,.... and 10000 % work

and please re install the aplication from your mmc

good luck

I have had the same problem and couldn't get anything to work on it. It isn't a virus, it is a corrupt system.ini file. You can correct the problem and it will work perfect again by deleting the system.ini. Us a program called FE explorer.

Power off your phone and turn it back on and it will rebuild the System.ini. And it will work perfect.

good luck
