As far asa i kno there is no test point visible for c55 without resistor, version doesnt matter , there is a cut track method from komix , that worked for me, lil hard to do but once u pluck up the courage to do it u get yer phone unlocked and not a expensive polophonic paper weight........
I used Ksie_2 for the unlock

I used a stanly knife blade instead of the pin tho, once the track is cut, and you run ksie 2 u can read and write the flash ,(at this point make a backup of yer phone) i then used direct unlock - no save map
phone is unlocked.......
The next part of the procceedure would be to repair the track you cut, but i dont have the equipment to work with surface mount chips, so i have left the track loose, no problems exparianced as yet, cept that i will never be able to use winswup to upload new version to my phone, but you will be able to use martech's tools "cracked" (without the martech box) to upload a hacked version of firmware if needed ....
i am more of a nokia person , so i am afraid i am not realy the person to chat to for technical siemens queries, i was meerly pointing out the method i used to unlock the phone, as there is no safe methode available as yet

i succesfuly cut the track but direct unlock on Ksie2 writes "its not that release" ....
what does that mean? do i have som wrong version of ksie or what?
can i flash from fw 18 to fw14 ?
i had a c55 v12 and i unlocked it with ksie2 and then only bzzzzz.....why??????

u should make a log from your phone then open log and rewrite correct IMEI in txt then with Ksie make an unlock map and write it to phone...your phone will be alive 100%;)
