Azalis freeze

hi!
Today I recive Azalis TCD288 4mb flash. It freeze after powering on. only "Philips" uppers on LCD and stop... kebord not work to.
I try reflash but problem not solve.
Is it eeprom dameged or HD problem? How to fix it????

Its hardware problem.
Bad contacts in LCD signal lines. Check connections PCB->Keyboard and Keyboard->LCD

no way! All contakts are cheked, cleened but problen steel persist :( all chip is glued...
Any idea?

We had where about 10..15 phones with same problem. Most of them was absolutly new (just from package).
Most of them was repaired in next way:

Under LCD contact rubber placed plastic film with contacts. We clean this rubber and contacts on film.
After this we put small piece of paper folded in 2..4 layers under film, assemble phone and test it.
BE VERY CAREFULL! Dont crash LCD!

As I remeber 1 phone was with simply damages keypad plastic film :( Was repaired only by keypad plastic film replace.

Generally that, a reason of hangup are the disturbances and absence of the answer in I2C bus (no answer from LCD)
