Sagem MY Pictures and Sounds Cables

What is the difference between the official Sagem Cable and Other Data Cables?

I ask this because I have a normal data cable, and it the sagem MY software refuses to recognise it.

is there any differences in the cable? Can any suggest any ideas of how to get the cable to work with this programme?

I would be gratefull of any decent responses... As I know many people are probably having this problem too...

same problem. probably original cable have a little memory that mpas read when start

I've already got a copy of this software and it works fine with my-G5 but not with my partners MY X3. Any Solutions

Connect CTS and DTR and the cable should work...
(Pin 8 and PIN 4 at the computers serial port)

mydiscover works well with my MYX-3!!!

The MY Discover software finds the phone but the phone doesnt seem to respond when uploading tones etc. Do you think it cause I'm running it on a laptop? Also What Type of Cable R U Using?

i have bought cable from gsm-tech.

if doesn't answer....maybe a speed problem.
have you set baud rate of phone and serial port?
