hi mates. Am tryign to upgrade the software of an SL55 V05 with a V9 and am getting this error.

any idea what is wrong??

did you used original update from siemens web page?

yes got the update from the siemens web page and am using original cable.

I updated S55 without problems with the software available at siemens webpage. There should be no problems for just updating. At least this should be normal.

i updated v 05 to 07 no problem for me all is ok .

press *#06#, left softkey....

if u phone is sl5c, then it cant flash to other lang pack, besides l.g 8!!

pls have you got the appropriate flash file for it?

yes, i've sl5c LG8 v9 firmware....pls someone provide hosting to upload......
