View Full Version : Panasonic reader 5.0 and IMEI
Hi everyone,
I got some questions about panareader 5.0
I have a gd 87 with the firmware A19.
Is it possible to change IMEI and unlock the phone whith panareader 5.0 for free? Or do i have to pay for this?
Also, if you try to make a IMEI log file whith this program, it requires the user to enter a NEW IMEI 14 digits number!!! Isn't IMEI number suppose to be 15 digits number??
If anyone knows anything about this program, please answer....
Ps. A tutorial wouldn't be bad;)

yes...u can do it by reader 5.0..
...the reason for 14 digits..is because last digit can be calculated based on the first 14 digits information..
and to be honest, it might not be sucess in the 1st attempt if u don't get a compatible new IMEI
...where can i find a compatible IMEI?
Example: Can i copy of a working IMEI on a GD 87 to the non-working phone? Or do i have to use a special program to calculate one?
I have hurd rumors about changing the the last 6 digits on a IMEI or copy a working IMEI will make it work.....But this is only rumors!
I need hard fact about this......for is it possible to damage the phone if one do this wrong???
Cheers

no one can't tell what IMEI u put MUST be working....
BUT one thing u have to remember in doing that..
change back to original IMEI once u get anything wrong ...!!! ..and do the change again ......though it's waste of credits...
Credits you say?
Thought you told me that panareader5.0 was able to do IMEI change without buying any scripts....
guess i was wrong then....
Will some one help me to obtain a compatible/valid IMEI for me?

the last 5
@mtony969
if i change the five last digits will this make the phone work immediately or do i have to keep trying until i find a combination that works...
And as Kingmobilphone did say earlier:
"BUT one thing u have to remember in doing that..
change back to original IMEI once u get anything wrong ...!!! ..and do the change again "

@bizmo.. your confusing ur self..
if imei = 12345678912345
then chnage the last bit 12345
make a log using pana reader 5.0.
send to the reselller for calculation.
reseller will send u a file which u then put in the imei script folder.
start up program. click chnage imei. power on phone.. 20 secs later imei done.
u now have a wrking phone.
Where can i find a reseller and what do it cost?
