Hi there can anyone help, Sagem MYX5, messed up by sagem service (my own fault used unlock method 1, that didnt work then used unlock method 2 without restoring backup - Doh!)
software version Type: JC3,6H: 2010 Date: 15-07-02,
Field 0 - 08 3A 05 28 35 05 54 53 80
Field 191 - CD 46 30 14
Field 252 - CD 9B 79 02 9D 3C 58 67 0C 89 F1 DE AA E1 67
What I need to know is
1 can I still unlock my sim and everything will work?
2 do I need to upgrade the software? if so how?
3 is there any software available that will read fields like 251 and 253?
4 Can anyone work out my unlock code from the above?
My sim card is a UK T-Mobile which is what I got with the phone, I do also have a UK Orange sim
Cheers for any help

find another X5, locked to the same provider and take field 5375 from it and write it to your phone...
But before make a backup ... You never know for what you can use it

cheers Chris, my field 5375 is currently 01 00 00 00 00 00 FF FF FF FF FF FF FF FF FF - does that look damaged or incorrect
how comes to you the idea that sagem service can unlock X5 ??

This really looks damaged...
But its ea´sy to repair, if you have correct data form another phone´, that i l ocked to the same provider.
You can try this:
Field 5375 (15 bytes): 01 00 00 00 00 00 08 29 80 10 FF FF FF FF FF (For a german phone)

hi Chris, think I messed up more now. I changed my transfer speed to auto in the data menu after I had reverted my imei back to normal (couldnt get into hotline with original imei as just come up with sim locked, so had to change, access the menu, changed it back and then adjusted data speed)
I then tried to use the official sagem software update, they didnt have a version for my phone 251152029 so i downloaded the closest one, and renamed it and tried the update.
This caused my phone to turn of and now no software can read the phone when i turn it back on - I think this is down to auto speed. I have tried all different speed settings in software but no response.
Any ideas?

Ups... This was perhapes a bad idea...
But i wonder a little bit. As fas as i know the update program checks the Phonemodel and if it does not fit, the update is aborted.
Can you switch on the phone now?
If yes, take a terminal program and set the speed again to a fixed value by AT-Command.
For example like that:
Enter "ATZ" + Enter until the phone gives you an answer (it will prompt "ERROR").Then change the baudrate with the command "AT+KIPR=19200" tu 19200

Chris, you are a fountain of knowledge, used the at command option on my discover and now i can read the phone again. i have changed the imei (temporarily) so i can now access hotline. Guess all I need now is a uk t-mobile 5375 field so that I can try that. Hope someone posts one soon!!
Tried the German one but that didnt work, but thanks for trying and if you have any other ideas then please let me know :)

Perhapes ask in the sagem forum, where such repair thnigs are on topic :-)
I think, more people will read it there.
Or you ask one of the moderators of thie section (acyl2000, Bert, DrMobile, ed2k_3, Kole64, wazl, Winner58, zdob) to move this thread into the sagem section.

Yeah problem sorted :) rang t mobile uk technical, talked them through hotline and got them to read out 5375 for me 01 00 00 00 00 00 08 29 43 03 FF FF FF FF FF
Got this into my phone and then changed the IMEI back to original and hey presto everything is now working.
Now all I need is that unlock code...................

Chris, how do I actually unlock it though my phone will only take an 8 code?
and what are the 2 lock levels for?

It should not matter what code to take... They both must work...
