GD87 does not switch on

Hello

I have to flash my GD87 on Windows 2000 with WinMODO plus 2002 beta 0.91

I have ONLY set the main box to green and put the right path of the flash file.


When i have clicked on download i have not switched on the phone.

Then a friend told me that i should have set the BOOT box to green before start download otherwise the phone will not switch on anymore ?

In the progress box there was only written signaling nothing else.

I have stop the download after 5 sec and the phone did not swtich on.

Is this normal ?

When i try to load the batery i am seing the red light that says it is loading but i do not seet the plug picture in the front face of the phone.

Does the serial number of the baterie is the same of the phone when you have it new ?

Can someone just answer me please :

1) Does WinMoDo works on Windows 2000
2) How can a boot be erased if the WinMoDo has not passed the signaling step.

didnt test winmodo with win2000 but boot will not be erased if winmodo does not get signal from the phone.... and anyway it tells you when it erases the flash...

I got a feeling this gentlemen has killed his phone....
under normal flash...signaling process is so quick to be passed .....even I can't see this process normally..

unless u kill your phone and the phone doesn't response to WINMODO ...and u will just stuck in the signalling process and not going to erasing memory process
