Yes what a good idea, that is the reason I'm trying to sell my Neelix 2 to raise the money so that I can purchase Neelix 3.
contact the person who sold your neelix2, there is a special deal for who wants to upgrade it to neelix3

Yes the N2 has full JIC support, but if I go back to the person I bought it off I would have to return the dongle in order to get the discounted N3 price, thus making my N2 unusable.
