Hi,

I know you can upload ringtones and picture into your phone if you had software of SHG-C100 or SHG-A100. So, pls try to looking for these softwares. But don't forget to share it to me if available with you.

when i said i use cable for c100 uploading pictures?? can you show me ..? open ur daaam eyes and read it very carefully i said easy gprs ver 2.1.5 is tested for c100 pictures uploading.
i m not said that i use cable ..?? S/t/u/p/i/d
i used infrared .which also custamer bring him self.i test it and upload pictures and return him back ..is that clear...

hey guys ive got a doozy of a problem here with my sgh c-100 . Ive bought it from pak and right now for some reason my Easy gprs wont sync with my C-100 . I checked the services oh forgot to mention Im running Xp and so as I was saying i checked the services and my irda service was running. Whenever i place my c-100 infront of the IR port the Ir conncection shows up showing that the connection is successfull. ive tried reinstalling, repairing and totally removng every trace of my C-100 of my Pc and it still wont sync. No matter how long I place my phone infront of the IRDA port it just wont sync and yes i do turn on my IR on my cell just in case someone gives me an idea that whether have I tried turning my cell IR. So can anyone help me out here. It was working fine before but now no dice.Thanks for all the help in advance people

IRDA Enabled. IRQ = Auto
Mode = Half Duplex
Tx,Rx Inverting Enabled = No,Yes

My Control Panel --- System--- PORT----Shows >>>>
Virtual Infrared Com Port
Virtual Infrared LPT Port

I have just installed a USB/IrDA device (GMUI-4200N) on my system and when I checked EasyGPRS there was no IrDA device listed in that program.

After going into Windows Control Panel and clicking on the "Wireless Link" icon I then did following:-

1. From displayed window selected 'Hardware Tab'.
2. Then selected 'Properties'.
3. Then selected 'Advanced'.
4. Under 'Value' it had listed Vishay 6101E (default)
5. I changed from Vishay 6101E to Sigmatel 4000

The USB/IrDA device is now working fine.

In EasyGPRS when I checked 'Setup' it lists:-

COM 1
COM 2
IrDA

Setting Sigmatel 4000 got my device to work with the C100 if you have that option I would try it and see what happens.

Who is the manufacturer of the USB/IrDA device that you are using?

If you look at the URL link below it will show what IrDA entries you are likely to see in device manager in Windows 98:-
