First program the funcard with:
funsim.hex (the flash)
eep64.bin (the eeprom) / eep128.bin & eep256.bin are for fun2 & fun4
funsim.eep (the internal eeprom)

then edit the xpl file with your information :
XX = position number (from 00 to 07)
IMSI
KI

the XPL file has data for one provider but you can copy the lines in the file 7 times under each other to make it for 8 providers

after editing the file use WINEXPLORER / phoenix mode to program the card...

However , when I used WINEXPLORER program the get this message:

Timeout Reading Data From Card-2 Byte s Requested , 0 Bytes Read , Script Aborted

1.make sure that you are in phoenix mode
2.maybe you need to change the winexplorer setting to get it working

I am not at home now so I cant try anything...
this evening I will check the settings and everything and hopefully will solve the problem for you

IN SIM_EMU there are Two settings for winexplorer..Try them both
and there is this note at the bottom:

((In some cases you must also keep gradually increasing the Byte Delay and/or Rec Timeout until it works.))

1.My working setting for Winexplorer:
I am using winexplorer 4.1

Data baud = 9600
Reset baud= 9600
Parity = odd
Byte delay = 0
Reset delay = 40000
Stop bit = 2
Bite conversion = Direct

If You still have a problem..forget winexplorer and copy the data below and save it as INTERNAL EEPROM FILE / edit it then program the card with the flash and the external eeprom from FUN_SIM and this file as INTERNAL EEPROM
(dont forget to remove my comments from the file)

I did all that , but when I put the sim card (Funcard) in my gsm mobile and switch it on I get

SIM CARD REJECTED

on my mobile display.


I do not know the problem now.
Is it the card damage?

My phone is Nokia 8310.

and also I can have one of the followings

Nokia 6100
Nokia 7250i
Nokia 5310


Any of the above are working with FUNSIM.

I have no problem with Nokia phones + Funsim. But tested with old Nokias before 3310

Two possibilities

1. cutting of the card is not accurate so the contact between the card and the phone is not correct
2. the card is not programmed correctly

RE Program the card with no data by using the original flash / ext.eerprom / int.eeprom files without your data and put the card in the phone.....it should be accepted & it should search for network .
if it was not accepted then the problem is the card..either bad card or wrong cutting.
if the card was accepted then it is your file that has something wrong.

some programes are not suitable for funcard internal eeprom programming so I recommend to use MasterBurner or Funprom

Do this first.
to make sure that the card was programmed correctly use one of these programs and read the card...save the files and compare your file (int.eeprom) from the card with the file you prepared

Best programmer for Funcard is Phoenix-Fun. Write card in one way (all hex-files) and work perfectly with Winexplorer.

Dear friends,

I opened the TWOPROG 2.3 program and I tried to read the data in the funcard.
It is confirmed that the data obtained same as what I loaded to the card.


So I decided to start once again with new funcard.

1) Opened TWOPROG 2.3 program
2) Selected funcard as Device
3) Now three files I have to load
4) Loaded 1st file “ Program Memory “
This file I loaded from funsim_Bin folder
This file called “ funsim.hex”
5) Loaded 2nd file “ Data Memory “
As recommended by my friend “ Nimri” the below data was modified by inserting the IMSI & KI for the 8 numbers , and saved as inteep.hex

I tried to load to the Data Memory but I got the following message :

( Error in Hexfile , Line # 6

( wrong checksum )
Note : A1 & A2 the IMSI for number 1 & 2


I think that the last two digits are wrong.

With wrong checksum your card is not programmed correctly.
Use empty hexfiles und write your data using Funsimconfigurator or Winexplorer.

6210, and 6610

Don't work in :
7250i :-(
which was my brand new phone ....DOOOHHHHH..
