Hi Guys! This is my problem/question: I recently purchased a MC60 (prepaid) and I asked somebody to unlock it for me. He screwed up and the phone was dead. He did not save the orignal eeprom, flash etc. So I bought a (noname) datacable and now I am trying to fix it myself. I downloaded a full backup, wrote that one to my phone, unlocked it, changed the IMEI back to the original and unlocked it again (by the way: Thanks to all you out there who put all this stuff on the internet !!). I also upgraded the phone with an upgrade from Siemens, the MC60_070101_update. The good news is that the phone is actually working (it is unlocked and it receives a call etc.) but the downside is that the display is not working properly. When I switch it on I can only see a blueish screen. From reading in your forum I understand that I probably need an other Eeprom? Does anybody know where I can find one that will solve this problem? Or do I need something else?

Thanks in advance!
HansK

Thanks for the reply Chris02!

I downloaded your Repair Kit and uploaded it to the phone... First the Fullbackup; and after that I used your Eeprom, changed the IMEI, unlocked it... I'm afraid it does not work (at least not on my phone). I still have only the Blue Screen.

The M55 tool tells me I have software version 07. Could it be that I first need to downgrade to version 4 for your Repair Kit to work? Or am I doing something else wrong?

If you have stolen someones phone and they report to their network they will contact the other networks and block the imei code.Which means the phone can NEVER be used again. If you change it,it will work again.
