I had one dead A52 that always stopped on the middle of the fullflash process, of course there was full batt.
So i have changed flash IC with new one but for C55 (they must be the same flash IC)
After that i made fullflash with freia without problem.
But when i tried to unlock using original IMEI i received that error:
Imei block is empty (not locked)
and update flash is not acceped.

What i am doing wrong? is there any specific for a52?

FlashIC of C55 is 8mb and of A52 only 4mb, so try C55 flashfile!

i tried c55 fubu then unlock - not swich on.
after a55 fubu then unlock - swich on , but have power off when it goes to menu.

something i have missed, i do not what, but i will find it soon.
anyway, thanks for advice :)

oops, after flashing a55 - Fubu i have already IMEI :)
so flash again with A52 - Fubu , then unlock and i have working phone :)

Tell me how to change IC (without reballing?)

My flash IC already had balls (factory), and on the board just 2-3 balls were missed.
So i put just these 2-3 balls on the board and hot air station made the rest.

what did i wrong..
i have A55 with bad FLASH IC .. write error.
so i put new C55 flash ic..
i flashed phone with FUBU , then unlock and i have same msg.. original imei EMPTY.
i check option UPDATE flash imei..
but i received error when writing .. now bad imei in FLASH ic..
