if you have Android 2.3.7 or higher, then you must root your device manually.
1. Phone must be powered on.
2. Enable "USB debugging" in "Settings"-"Aplications"-"Development" ("Settings"-"Developer options" for Android 4.0+).
3. Connect the phone to PC, use micro-USB cable.
4. Press "Unlock" button.

How To Root?
Download Odin3-v1.85_3.zip
Download CF-Root-SGS3-v6.4.zip

Put Download Mode Vol Down+Home+Power When Show Screen Menu Press Vol Up Choes Continue Then Set Gone Download Mode.
Open Odin Select CF-Root-SGS3-v6.4 Zip File On Pda.
Click Start After Finish Phone Is Rooted.
And Ready To Unlock.

After Root Open Z3x SamsungTool_13.0 Hit Unlock Button

Let me add one thing here Unzip ''CF-Root-SGS3-v6.4 Zip'' File.
After Unzip the file you would have seen the tar file give in pda.
Then click Start.
