Samsung E700!

Ok, this part is true, i got the phone for free by a friend, but its locked from network, it probably means its either stolen or someone lost it...

I´ve ordered a cable from internet and I´ll probably have it here by tuesday this week, what i need to know is how much do i need to do to change Imei number?

Do i need to flash? What exactly does the flash do?
Does it erase the whole phone data and then i need to put all stuff back or how does it work?
Can i just put in my own Imei number or does it have to be any specific?
and.
Which are the best programs to use?
Can i upgrade my phone to a newer version and were do i find all the softwarez i need?

I dont know the cables exact "name" cou´s it didnt show me the name of the cable, but the seller said it was the "right" cable to use to flashing and changing Imei etc etc..

Well, it would help if we knew wot model of samsung you were going to do, cos their are a few of them

If it is e700 e800 etc etc then for e700 i use the nasiriyan mobile imei changer, and for e800 i use winimei, both work fine


You, could always just check previous posts though, just a thought.....

Ohh, sorry m8 its for the E700 ;)

I thought nasiriyan was just for Nokia phones?
