1100a to 1100 (RH-38 to RH-18) converted succesfully with twister. Make backup of yours PM before. Regards.

Are you absolutly sure you have done this without any hardware modifications at all? RH-38 1100a is 850/950 MHZ, while RH-18 1100 is a 900/1800 MHZ, I would say impossible without changing filters in the phone !

I've seen a picture somewhere, some time back, but dont remember where, but filter change is nessesary, maybe the phone will work on 900 MHZ, but 'm sure it wont work on 1800 MHZ

I'll look around and see if I can locate that picture again.

It might work temporarily, because the filters are not tuned to the centre frequency properly
After sometime, the signals will fade.
The best and most stable solution is the filter replacement

it can work but not at optimum frequency and the sensitivity of the phone will certainly decrease.

You are right. I have not tested phone at 1800 mhz..At 900mhz worked good

I think Yoda Brno is talking about 1100 RH-38 coverted to 1100 RH-18 which are both 900/1800 MHZ and has same hardware, the only difference are RH-38 is made in asia and with asian spec. and RH-18 is made in EU and have european spec. 1100a with 850/950 is RH-36
