I have to unlock two Nokia 6230 (no more tries with codes). The first one could I unlock without problems, but I can't connect to the second one - nothing happens.

The phone works fine, but I can't get it into local, test or normal mode - nothing happens on the screen? The other (and my own Nokia 6230) connects without problems.

The phones are brand new. What can the problem be?

remove the memory card and connect the phone it will connect, you can also put the battery back ,swicth on and try again with out the memory card

There's no memory card in the phone. I've tried to turn the phone on with battery, it works fine...

For some reason these phones have different modulings, put about 1-2mm of solder on the cable battery contacts and see if that helps, if not remove the 4 screws from the cable and try again, sounds crazy but it helps ;)
