Yeah I checked and keys are working, because of the protect function ON/OFF... You know the 1+3 keys + power on thing, and this works, of course that if keys were not working this would not work.

BTW, your product (Joule) seems very good, I mean for professional people in the business.

In the morning I left an hour or so radio on but ignition off, nothing happend, now I left him around 20 minutes with ignition on and I was able to enter the code, and finally radio works again.

Very very gratefull for the code.

jbes, i hav a program that gives me the codes for most car stereos but phillips seem to need something called a dump code. u seem to know a lot about phillips stereos so can u tell me what they are and where i can get them?

I've just bought a second-hand Philips 22 DC 679/62 Radio cassette for my Renault 21 and I need to get hold of the code for it.
The serial number is RN679FN9315643. Can anyone help? Thanks.

unsure what a dump code is ? ?
a dump is the information inside a ic in the radio that has the code.
Some people read this and then use this dump if they have the code on another radio.

i know this might sound like a seriously stupid question, but does anyone know how to get the SC201 out to read the serial number???

I've been at it an hour and still cant get the bloody thing out!

Hi all,

New to the board and my first post (unfortunately it's a request, rather than an offer of help at present, but hope to be able to provide some as time goes on)

Have a philips radio from a Landrover discovery - part of a 6disk auto changer/head unit package i got to replace one that had died. Unfortunately forgot to ask/get the code for radio, so when i did, it wasn't known - so can anyone assist??

Radio SN is RG710FS2010585
