hi does anyone know how to unluck phone. you need a password to unlock sim. its an samsung e710. unlocked it before an it works for one sim card. when i put in an other sim card it says "password" to unluck sim.

cheers fbs but i cant key in that passwors as it will only accept numeric characters and will not accept the * or # buttons. i have already unlocked the fone but it seems to only work with the simcard that was in it wen i unlocked it. any ideas are well appreciated.

i put in the code *2767*2878# and the fone restarted back to the emergency calls screen. i took out the battery and put in the sim card and its still asking me for tha password. it says at the top of the screen SIM lock the under it, it says Enter password.

does anyone no how to disable the SIM lock on the fone if you cant remember the password? i think whats wrong with it because i put the sim card in that i unlocked it with and went to the security settings and it said that SIM lock was enabled.

then go back to the security settings and disable the sim lock.

i would but you hav to enter a password to disable it and i dont know it. i never even put the SIM lock on. i need to if there is a way to disable it without having to put in a password

its ok i got it sorted. if anyone ever gets this problem just enter 00000000 (eight zeros) to fix it.
