Has anyone got Eeprom Tools v3.0 to work under Windows XP?

- Or other software to calculate FAID?

(Knok can flash - but not use MBUS/FBUS under my Windows XP)

its not working here on windows xp better try to dual boot your system to win 98

I already have a dual boot (for unlocking under Windows 98), but it would be nice if it could work under Windows XP, so I didn't have to reboot. We can now flash under XP (using Knok), so we could hope that someone makes a program for calculating FAID under XP as well.

Windows XP/2000/NT has been made prevent from directly accessing ports. So all these soft directly access port not working, but there is small software called "USEPORT", install it, your XP/2000/NT works fine with Dejan Tools (flasher, EPROM repair), EEPROM tools 3.0 and NokiaTools.
It has been discussed couple times in the forum!

EEprom Tool 3.0 is working under Windows XP.
Just right-click on the exe, and select compatibility mode Win98.
That´s all.

"useport" software isn’t time limited, never could be expired, very small, only 29.8k. Makes any unlocking software work under XP/2000/NT.

you could always use vmware, there's a keygen floating around for that, but i just want to see what virtual pc is like compared to vmware =)

I thing the wrong with serial number is why you try the serial to virtual pc trial.
I got the same error and now after better search, I am trying to download the original Virtul PC hoping the serial is working.

The ftp server look very slow is one chinese server.

I can't get Eeproms Tool work.

It just says "phone not connected" no matter what. Other programs works fine.
