Hello !
I have a t28 thad yust died in stand by... with no reason at all... I cant turn it on... Any suggestion about wich part do i have to change ? TNX

hi m8,

try to change the Power Amplifier and then youll see... this is the common cause for all T28... Ericsson is using a silicon type IC and it is easily damaged with no reason at all...

problem is... nowhere to find any replacement...

Hello! tnx in reply.... Please tell me something... where is this power amplifier located... is it the "RM009" ? besouse i made few measurements and the + and - pole of the battery connector were shorted.... so i tested the capacitors and they were ok- than I removed this RM009 and now there is no short circuit... But i have another problem.. how to resolder new one... i dismonted the previous one with high power cigarette lighter... (high pressure butan lighter by Galoises) ;-) Tnx for helping!

sorry for late response... i was out of town to attend some business...

anyway... you got it right it's RM009... and its hard to find nowadays where to find some replacement... other than getting from other defective t28 who has good RM009...
