Hello everybody,

I have just flashed from a French version (I600GCXX4) on my SGH-i600 to a USA operator download v1.2 (SGH-i607) for Xcingular Blackjack.

Why you may ask... I just wanted to see the I 607 version 's differences before to flash with the I600GCXX6.

During the flash process, everything was OK. The 3 digit counter kept running, before i removed the battery.

Now, I lost the wifi, all the sound, the bluetooth etc....

Also, I can not connect at all, no Activesync, no explorer.... Nothing. :mad:

When I try the Bootloader mode, I have only :
*USB Downloader-Xcingular V1.2
[Phone] Active OFF

I have tried to download the modem driver and lot of things but I can do nothing. The phone is not detected by my computer on USB.

I think that I have to replace the boot loader! Perhaps with the MicroSD....

Can someone please help me! :rolleyes:

Hi Jafangie,

I am Martin which has got the same problem with you. I am going to use JTAG method to reload the open v1.1 bootloader. Do you have some ways to find the service manual of this device and find out the actual JTAG points / pins?

If yes, please share it with me. I am building by own JTAG cable right now.

Today I ve find nothing... My phone is always dead! :mad:

I tried to change all the registry, the boot.Rgu and boot.hv, the file system. I copied all these files on one mobile I600 Asia, spent lot of times, but actually nothing!

But I don't know the method you are speaking, I have a look and i will contact you.

Can force the open regconize by USB for flashing, but can not flash the PHONE part! Still fining solution.

I can also force with Modem, but when I turn off the mobile, I lost connection, when I turn on, it does'nt recognize it!!!!

hey winVISTA how do you force usb flashing. I need to flash the bootloader to cingular again. accidently flash i600 rom. Thank you for any help

Please explain how to force usb for flashing. Mines says Open 1.1 , I need it to say cingular.

I get the same

When i start the phone it start booting up the says good bye then turn on.

Once you saw "Phone Active: OFF", just wait for about an hour. Why, just to wait for TimeOut.

After TimeOut, the OLD code wll be executed and the phone will be back ON but no upgrade.

I've tried, yes, it's time out as you said but then it's just boot the phone up and turn it off automatically as usual.

So, I'm just wondering what do you mean by OLD code will be executed?

Sorry to hear that your phone automatically shut off after TIMEOUT.

Well, for my phone, after TIMEOUT, it works as before except the InternetSharing and anything through USB port which includes ActiveSync.

Therefore, the TIMEOUT just get your phone back but not all the features UNLESS you (or we) get a USB-RS232 cable to reprogram/reflash the Flash with Rootloader "Xingular v1.0", that will switch the USB port of the phone from CDMA[i600] mode back to 3G[i607] mode. Then, USB will be back to alive as before.

Since I don't need the USB for now, I am OK but again I think the USB-RS232 reprograming/reflashing is the total solution.

What should I do once I got that box? I saw in the unlocking shop have that one, so I can go to ask him to do it for me...

but I am sure they don't know how to do repair this.. and I have no idea where to start as well

do you have any forum that discuss about how to fix this problem with that NS-Pro?

when do you start to reprogram? anytime when the phone is on? or on the bootloader?
and where did you get the information from?
